MODES OF EXAMINATION / OPTIONSAt ICMind, exams are conducted with great flexibilities in terms of modes (Place) of examination, Duration, schedule (Date, Time) of examinations.

E-Postal Examinations:
This is also referred as Case Study Focused – Applied Knowledge Based, Practical Assignments Based, Open Book, and From Home-Office: Examination system. This is a default option for examination. Under this option student shall receive the question paper to their registered email id as per records of ICMind Exam Department. Generally, Case study based question paper is applicable though theoretical or multiple choice questions may be included to the question papers. Student need to read, understand, analyze the case study. Student needs to identify the problem, opportunity, threats or other situation as may be specified or hidden in the question. Student need to answer the question(s) that may be available at the end of the case study questions. Student need to act as a manager in the situation & provide opinions, suggestions, recommendations with reference to the situation also the answers must be supported by any relevant management theory, well known case study or otherwise. Generally one subject question paper consist of 04 case studies of 20 Marks allotted to each case & 20 Marks for presentation, handwriting, filing system, indenting, alignment, examples and case reference and other additional stuff as may be submitted by students like soft copy presentations-CD/DVD/Audio/Video/News paper & magazine cutouts, Source etc…
Center Based: XCThis is also referred as Traditional, Theoretical, Study Centre based, Exam center based, classroom, Three Hours examination. This is not a default option for examination. In case of center based examination, student must provide the choice of this option at the time admission itself. The schedule – Date, Time & Place of examination shall be determined by the institute only. Exam may be conducted at ICMind Study-Exam centers or at authorized exam centers. Thus it may or may not be as per the schedule available for exam months provided for E-Postal Examination. Student need to reach the allotted examination Centre minimum 05~10 Minutes before the scheduled exam time. Student shall be allowed to enter the exam hall only after verifications of hall ticket, ID card, PAN Card, Valid ID proof only. Question paper shall be issued to all appearing candidates exactly on time as per scheduled. Student shall be provided with 180 Minutes of time to answer the exam paper. Students will not be allowed to refer study materials in the examination center; student guilty of copy in examination shall be disallow to attend the exams and admission shall be considered cancel. To continue the course student has not re-enroll by applying for fresh admission along-with all eligibility documents and latest applicable fees structure.
E-Scan Option: XEThis is also referred as E-Mail*, Scan-Copy examination. This is not a default option for examination. Student need to specify the choice of this option at the time of admission itself. This is Similar to E-Postal Examination-XP with an additional facility to scan & mail the handwritten answer papers. This is generally advisable for those students who may not be in a position to post the answer papers on time & thus the scan copy is considered as the original answer sheets till the time the actual answers are not received. The original answer sheets needs to be submitted before the issue of result.
Online Exam: XOThis is also referred as Multiple Choice with Negative Marking Exam. This is not a default option for ICMind examination but this is an default option for other examinations like NSE certification examination. The option shall be provided subject to availability of seats. Student need to specify the choice of this option at the time of admission itself. In case of online examination, The schedule – Date, Time & Place of examination shall be determined by the institute only. Exam may be conducted at ICMind Study-Exam centers or at authorized exam centers. Thus it may or may not be as per the schedule available for exam months provided for E-Postal Examination. Student need to reach the allotted examination Centre minimum 05~10 Minutes before the scheduled exam time. Student shall be allowed to enter the exam hall only after verifications of hall ticket, ID card, PAN Card, Valid ID proof only. Computer Systems/question paper shall be issued to all appearing candidates exactly on time as per scheduled. Student shall be provided with 120 Minutes of time to answer the exam paper. Students will not be allowed to refer study materials in the examination center; student guilty of copy in examination shall be disallow to attend the exams and admission shall be considered cancel. To continue the course student has not re-enroll by applying for fresh admission along-with all eligibility documents and latest applicable fees structure.
ICT* / Audio-Visual-Communication Technology Online Exam: XOThis is also referred as Personal Interview, Group Discussion, Public specking & Mass Communication, Presentation based examination. This is applicable to few specific courses only. Also this may be used for cross verification of answers attended by students. This is not a default option. The option shall be provided subject to availability of seats. Student need to specify the choice of this option at the time of admission itself. The Institute reserves the right to conduct such examination at such interval for such students as it may deem fit or necessary to monitor the students’ performance. In case of such examination, The schedule – Date, Time & Place of examination shall be determined by the institute only. Exam may be conducted at ICMind Study-Exam centers or at authorized exam centers or at office or at home.. Thus it may or may not be as per the schedule available for exam months provided for E-Postal Examination. Student need to reach the allotted examination Centre minimum 05~10 Minutes before the scheduled exam time. Student shall be allowed to enter the exam hall only after verifications of hall ticket, ID card, PAN Card, Valid ID proof only. Computer Systems, Web Camera, CCTV Camera, Head phone/question paper shall be issued to all appearing candidates exactly on time as per scheduled. Student shall be provided with specific – 10~60 Minutes of time period to attend the exam. Students will not be allowed to refer study materials in the examination center; student guilty of copy in examination shall be disallow to attend the exams and admission shall be considered cancel. To continue the course student has not re-enroll by applying for fresh admission along-with all eligibility documents and latest applicable fees structure.

Minimum Duration

- Single semester programs:
The student shall apply for examination after completion of minimum duration of the course till the maximum duration of the course without payment of any extra exam fees. - Multiple Semester Programs:
In case of multiple semesters’ programs, the minimum duration for the 1st semester examination shall be determined by dividing minimum duration by number of semesters in the programs subject to minimum 06 months or minimum duration whichever is lower.
- Single semester programs:
Maximum Duration:
The student must apply for all examinations before expiry of exam application session for the exam on or before the completion of maximum duration of the course.
Extended Duration:
Student shall be eligible for examination till the expiry of maximum duration of the course. Once the course maximum duration is expired student shall be liable for course extension charges. The course extension fees shall be valid till 3 months from the date of expiry of maximum duration.
Once maximum duration has lapsed, student may be allowed to appear the examination by paying additional fees of 10% of original gross fees plus exam fees of Rs.1500*/- (US$150) Per exam paper.
Expiry After Extended Duration:
In case of extended duration has elapsed, student may be allowed to appear the examination by paying exam fees of Rs.1500*/- Per exam paper plus additional duration extension fees.
Course Extension Fees:

- 25% of original gross fees – valid for 06 months
- 35% of original gross fees – valid for 09 months
- 45% of original gross fees – valid for 12-months
- and incremented by additional 10% (of original fees amount) for each three months up to expiry duration of course.
Expiry duration:
Expiry duration is calculated as double of original maximum duration or 7 years whichever is less.

Flexible e-Postal exams:
Examinations are conducted in four exam months at interval of every 10 days in each exam months. Student needs to apply for the examination as per specified schedule and considering minimum and maximum duration of the courses.

Apply Exams:
You may apply exams in any of the following ways

- Email exam demand to exam@icmind.com in prescribed format from registered email id only OR
- Written Application to nearest Center OR
- Submit online examination application form
Specify following details in exam application:

When to Apply for Exam:
Student may apply for exam prior to two month before the 1st day of exam month.
Applying Examination:
To apply for examinations student should forward duly filled & signed exam application form (download from website) to exam@icmind.com; before Minimum 60 days from particular exam session. (Refer exam Schedule).
Semester Exams:
Examination can be applied for entire semester and not for each subject separately. In case of delay in student fails to submit request on time then you are requested to send your demand form for next session only.
Application shall not be accepted if application not submitted on time as per session’s last dates of application.
Once you decide to make an examination request, shall have to confirm the date for examination at least sixty day in advance from particular session.
Student must specify the mode of examination viz. Postal or Classroom at the time application. The default mode of examination is Email-Postal.
In case of Classroom examination, date time and place of examination shall be determined by ICMind. The students will not be allowed to refer any material at the time of examinations.
Case study based question paper is applicable for home or email option.
Acceptance:
Upon receipt of exam application form duly filled and signed; the form will be considered for process of approval from accounts and other respective departments. On receipt of confirmation from all respective departments, examination schedule confirmation shall be mailed to the student. In case of email application only registered mail id shall be considered for accepting exam application.
You may reach your SRM or exam department In case you do not receive exam application acceptance mail confirmation.
Rejection of Exam application:
Exam Application form will not be accepted or shall not be processed or no reply may be given to applicant at any circumstances In case of:

- Exam application form is not filled properly or incomplete.
- Application is mailed from unregistered mail id.
- Exam Application not directly submitted from registered email id to exam@icmind.com
- Delay in submission of exam application i.e. submitted after last date of application for the session (Refer the examination schedule).
- NOC – Clearance is not received from accounts department for 100% fees amount, at the time of receipt of application.
- Minimum duration has not elapsed at the time of application.
- Maximum duration has elapsed at the time of application & applicable fees & charges has been paid for course extension.
- In case of re-examination, Re-exam fees and cancellation fees not paid.
Receipt of Question papers: student shall receive examination papers via email between 00:01 Am to 10:00 Am on exam day.
Intimation of receipt:
Student shall reply to question paper email stating question papers received.
Refer all Instructions:
Student must refer to exam instructions before attending exam question papers on examination Day.
Receipt of Question papers & Instructions on Examination Day:
Student shall receive examination papers via email between 00:01 Am to 10:00 Am. On receiving question papers you shall have to intimate confirmation reply email to exam department. In case of non receipt of email exam papers by 10:30 Am students shall contact exam department.
E-Hall Ticket:
Students applying for Center based examination shall carry original ID proof & black & white normal printout of e-ID card or soft copy of e-ID card for verification purpose.
Attending the Question Paper:
Upon receipt of exam papers student must read & understand instructions – terms of examination, how to attend questions and guidelines for presentation. Read understand analyze case / questions and provide answers with logical reasoning and supporting case or examples (if any) in support f the answers. Answers must by written in own hand writing.
Examination needs to be attended in specified time duration; guidelines are specified in detail with examination question papers; in case of any query related to examination you may communicate through email to the exam department.
Submission of answer papers:
The answer sheets and question papers must be submitted to exam department via speed post / courier within stipulated time.
Duration of 02 days for each subject is allowed for examination (subject to minimum 10 days per semesters/group.)
Making late submission shall be liable for penalty of Rs.250/- per day per subject delay charges. Delay submission is accepted for a maximum period of additional 10 days.
The examination shall stand cancelled if the answers are not sent to exam dept till end of additional 10th day. Subsequently, shall have to apply for re-examination. making late submission shall be liable for penalty / cancellation charges / Re-Examination charges & terms.
Submission of Project:
The Project must be prepared on the any aspects of specialization(s). Student have to specify The “Project Title” / “Thesis Title” at the time of application of exam request for the semester with specialization subject(s). Project must be prepared in soft and hard printed copy format. Projects needs to be submitted along-with the answer papers.
Exam Cancellation:
Once the approval is granted the examinations shall not be cancelled by the student under any circumstances. Exam cancellation before approval shall be charged Rs.250/- (US$25) per subjects. And post approval the cancellation charges shall increase to Rs.500/-(US$50) per subjects, post issue of examination question papers (on the 1st day of examination) the charges shall increase to Rs.750/- (US$75) per subject.
Non submission of answer papers shall be deemed to be cancellation of examination & shall attract penalty of Rs.1000/- per subject.
The charges for students other then Indian student Residing and working in India shall be charged in US$100/- per subject.
Institute reserves rights to cancel or reschedule the examination under any institutional technical or other reasons expressed implied or undisclosed. Also institute shall not be considered liable for any loss due to of such delay or cancellation of exams.
Re-examination:
Once exams are cancelled or deemed to be cancelled or cancelled due to delay in submitted answer papers, student must apply for re-examination for continuing the course by paying applicable fees.
Cancellation /delay submission charges Rs.1000 per subject paper plus additional re-examination charges of Rs.500/- per paper.
Total Re-examination fees Rs.1500/- per subject for Indian resident.
These charges are not to make profit out of re-examination but to make the students perform the exams seriously & scenically.

Q.11} What answer sheets I should use for writing my question papers?
You can use A4 size answer papers.
Q.12} What is the pattern of question papers?
If student has applied for Study Centre then student has to come to our Centre for examination, the question papers for Study Centre will be based on Subjective questions and incase of a student has applied for Home / Email options, papers will be based on case studies.
Q.13} Can I type & mail my answers?
Student has to submit only handwritten answer sheets.
Q.14} How can I submit my answer sheets?
On or before completion of exam duration (e.g.10th days). Student can courier the answer sheets along with the question papers to Exam Department Mumbai or personally submit the same in Mumbai office only. After dispatching courier answer sheets student will have to mail courier details on apsubmit@icmind.org on the same day.
Q.15} What charges I have to pay if I fail to submit my papers on time? or Q.16} What if I am unable to submit the answer papers in specified exam days + extra 10 days including grace days extension?
For late submission you will be liable to submit Rs.200/- per day delay charge for a maximum period of ten days. After which the examination shall stand canceled. The student shall be charged penalty for the same. Also student need to reappear the examination by paying additional fees for re-examination. Thus you will be liable to pay late submission charges or cancelation charges plus Re-exam charges Rs.500/- per paper.
Q.17} Why are you charging late fees?
To avoid late submission of answer sheets. If you submit your answer sheets on time i.e. during your schedule then you won’t be charged with any fees. The penalties are charges to generate seriousness for examination not to make profit out of it.
Q.18} What if I fail in any subject?
The Student may apply for re-examination in Student has to pay Rs.500/- per paper for re-appearing for particular subjects.
Q.19} If the course duration is completed, can I extend that course duration?
At ICMind, the course duration has four levels:Minimum Duration, Maximum Duration, Extended Duration & Expiry Duration Extended Duration Student shall be eligible for examination till the expiry of maximum duration of the course. In case of maximum duration has lapsed, student may be allowed to appear the examination by paying additional fees of 10% of original gross fees plus exam fees of Rs.500*/- Per exam paper. The course extension fees shall be valid till extended duration applicable for the course. The extension charges are not applicable in case of student has already completed all examination but not cleared (KT) examinations for 25% of number of total subjects covered in the course.
After Extended Duration: In case of extended duration has elapsed, student may be allowed to appear the examination by paying exam fees of Rs.500*/- Per exam paper plus additional duration extension fees (15% of original gross fees) valid for 06 months, (20% of original gross fees) valid for 09 months, (25% of original gross fees) valid for 12-months, and incremented by additional 05% (of original fees amount) for each three months up to expiry duration of the course.
Q.20} When I will get my result?
You will receive your results in 45 working days after submission of your answer sheets.
Q.21} Can I cancel my exam after submitting the Exam Demand form?
Once the approval is granted the examinations shall not be canceled. Exam cancelation before approval shall be charged Rs.250/- per subjects. And post approval the cancelation charges shall increase to Rs.500/- per subjects, post issue of examination question papers (on the 1st day of examination) the charges shall increase to Rs.750/- per subject. Non submission of answer papers shall be deemed to cancelation of examination & shall attract penalty of Rs.1000/- per subject. The charges for students other then Indian student Residing and working in India shall be charged in US$ and increased as per the schedule of charges (Please ask for list of charges & penalty).
Q.22} What documents should I send to Mumbai office along with the answer sheets?
You will have to send the following details along with your handwritten answer sheets. Also the documents should be arranged as per the guidelines.

Q.23} Can I personally come and collect Question paper from your branch office?
Yes, you can personally collect the question paper but from Exam Dept-Mumbai office only.

You will have to submit the Hard copy as well as soft copy of the Project report.
